Lucille Riggin Moore, 86, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away Monday, June 06, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.
She was a native of Littleton and the daughter of the late Jeremiah Hurbert and Liza Carroll Riggin. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Robin M. Seiber, her son Jerry Ben Moore, and also her husband, Bernie Benjamin Moore.
Lucille was a registered nurse and was a mentor to many young nurses coming into the profession during her forty-five year career.
She is survived by her two daughters, Melanie M. Lockamon and her husband Todd of Roanoke Rapids; Jerri M. Morgan and her husband, Mike of Roanoke Rapids; her son in law, Michael Sieber of Halifax; six grandchildren, Charlie Sieber and his wife Vanessa, Clint Sieber, Paige Lockamon, Clay Lockamon, Jordan Carpenter, and Abbigail Carpenter.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at 11:00 AM at Enterprise Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Harper and Rev. Darren Lambert officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. T
he family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services and other times at the home of her daughter Melanie Lockamon.
In lieu of Flowers memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the American Heart Association.
