Orevia Whitby Clippard, 88, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away February 2, 2016, at Signature Care in Roanoke Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Clippard.
Orevia is survived by her husband , Maxie Clippard, Jr of Roanoke Rapids; two daughters, Barbara Brewer and her husband Kim of Roanoke Rapids and Sandy Carpenter and her husband Dewey of Louisburg; two sons; Maxie Clippard III and his wife Joy of Roanoke Rapids and Randy Clippard of Owatonna Minn. She is also survived by her grandchildren Julie Rooker, John Clippard, Brian Mullis, Michael Clippard, Christopher Clippard, Steven Carpenter, Lisa Carpenter and Brett Clippard. Orevia is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 5, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services with the Reverend Maurice Wheat officiating.
Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.
A visitation will be held Thursday, February 4 from 7 to 8:30 pm at Askew Funeral Services and other times at 15 Henry Street Roanoke Rapids. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.askewfs.com
